Tennessee Emergency Rescue & Recovery Association is a non-profit organization that uses trained K9′s and Handlers to locate missing persons, alive or deceased. TERRA is located in Middle Tennessee but has handlers in several different states and is able to assist national organizations anywhere in the country. TERRA uses Belgian Tervs, Rottweilers, GSD’s and Labs and they’re trained in either scent-specific area search or human remains detection on land and/or water. All TERRA’s handlers go through rigorous training in scent theory, map/compass, GPS, search strategy, lost person behavior and more. The handlers and their K9′s attend seminars throughout the year receiving instruction from some of the best instructors in the field.

TERRA is in need of monetary donations to assist our handlers in training their K9′s as well as to assist our new Kids Against Predators program, a preventive education program for children and parents.
